About National Law University Delhi
National Law University Delhi (NLU Delhi) is one of India's premier law schools, established in 2008 by the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi. The university is recognized for its rigorous legal education, interdisciplinary research, and strong emphasis on public policy, constitutional law, criminal justice, and corporate law. Unlike most National Law Universities that admit students through CLAT, NLU Delhi conducts its own entrance examination, the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) for admission to its undergraduate and postgraduate law programs.
The university offers a 5-year B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), LL.M., Ph.D., and several specialized postgraduate and research programs. Its curriculum combines legal studies with subjects such as economics, political science, sociology, and history, helping students develop both analytical and practical legal skills. Students regularly participate in moot court competitions, legal aid clinics, internships with top law firms, senior advocates, courts, government bodies, NGOs, and international organizations.
